General Rules (as of 12/20/2022)

  1. A reference must be provided. It does not have to be professional, as long as the idea is easily understood.

  2. There is no editing or revision limit. However, big changes (such as the pose) can only be done during the rough sketch period, provided it is with specific instructions, and will no longer edited once the piece has been marked as finished.

  3. Content involving lewd, fetishistic or explicit nudity will be heavily moderated, and are case-by-case basis for approval. If you have doubts if the content you want applies, feel free to ask.

  4. Leniency will be given under courtesy and fairness, but can be retracted if abuse of boundaries is demonstrated.

  5. I reserve the right to refuse commissions without interrogation. Regardless, you will still be informed if I decline, with a reason I am willing to give at my own comfort.

  6. If it’s an urgent request, we will have to negotiate on the compromise depending on how little time I get to work on the piece, and the current waiting list. This will not put you above the current client.

  7. Partial payments are permitted, but a deadline for the full amount must be discussed and included in the invoice, and completed before the final rendition is handed over. At least half the total amount must be paid up front.

  8. All payment processes will be done upfront and after I have accepted your order, via (1) Paypal invoicing if overall total does not exceed $50, or (2) wire remittance or bank transfer otherwise. If you are a trusted and/or reoccurring client, this process can be changed for both of our conveniences.

  9. Streamlabs, Throne and Paypal.me transfers will be considered donations, therefore not accountable for work-based refunds.

  10. Please read the ToS and Policies before you order so that there will not be misunderstandings on the method of our transaction. This goes doubly for the Transparency Policy as progress won't move until each stage is approved.

Abuse of these rules could result in refusal of service, user blocking, or even reporting to community moderators of misconduct.

Terms of Service

In requesting for my services, the client gives me permission to use the artwork produced for promotional purposes.

Clients will be sent a clean unwatermarked version of their paid piece through our mode of communication upon completion, to which the client may do as they wish for
personal uses. A watermarked version will also be publicly posted, and clients are recommended to reblog/retweet that version on social media instead of posting their clean piece. Crediting the artist is also much appreciated.

If it will be used for
merchanidising or commerical purposes, an appropriate licensing
fee will be applied according to whether the illustration/s will be available locally or online, the amount of time it will be featured, and the scope of the store or brand it represents; minimum of 150% of the base price of the original image/s to be re-sold, or $100 to be featured in streams where ad revenue and/or donations are accepted. Once paid, the client is free to use the image for monetary gain.

Only the original client, their team and their projects may use the piece without the watermark.

Clients do not have the right to tokenize or sell the pieces produced for cryptocurrency (i.e., NFT), or fed to AI for training or content directly and/or through a 3rd party, regardless if they paid for a licensing fee.

Transparency Policy

An open and stable communication is an important aspect in these types of trade. It's to make sure neither party will be getting scammed out of their money, time and effort. My services are of no exception. You can expect me to do send you each stage of the process. I'll only continue once I know that I'm doing it right, and that there are no problems or corrections that need to be taken care of.

The stages include:

  1. Sketch

  2. Inking

  3. Flat Colors (if without exact palette reference)

  4. Shading / Finished product

This way, it would be easier for me to correct mistakes early on, and you would know how much progress I have done. It is encouraged you check our form of communication regularly, as these updates will likely happen 24 to 48 hours of the previous stage's confirmation.

Refund Policy

Refunds are no longer applicable once the piece/s has been completed.

Cancellation with full refund will only be granted  prior to the piece's digital work process.

Partial Refunds will be based on the updates the client has already received. If work has already started, the refund percentage will be negotiated based on the piece's current progress.

If the mode of payment is through remittance, the client may schedule an invoice through Paypal to procedurally receive the agreed upon amount back.

Frequently Asked Questions

•    Regarding Services:

1.    HOW LONG DO I USUALLY HAVE TO WAIT [ON THE LIST]?

Upon accepting the commission, you will be informed of the timeframe depending on the current traffic.

2.    WHEN DO YOU TYPICALLY START WORKING?

Near immediately. When I receive the references and details, along with having the invoice sent and paid for, I start drawing the rough sketches when I'm able. It usually means that I start within or around the day the order is placed.

Exceptions apply depending on circumstances.

3.    HOW LONG DOES A PIECE USUALLY TAKE TO BE FINISHED?

There will be an assumed 24-hour grace period to allow leniency between different timezones.

The work progress will only continue when the previous stage of the commission has been accepted by the client. If communication is constant with minimal problems, a custom commission would be finished around 3 to 5 days on average after sketching.

4.    WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG? WHERE'S MY UPDATE?

a.    The green light to proceed has not yet been given by you. Check our method of communication. Any response that would indicate that you have seen the update, and I can proceed without any corrections is needed to move on to the next stage.

b.    Your order is incomplete. If it's a big piece, but you don't have all the references or details for me yet, the pacing will be different as to allow more modifications while completing previous instructions.

c.    You have given me permission to take a break mid-piece. I always update my clients whenever something is going on. Feel free to occasionally check in with me if it'd be resolved soon and I'd tell you when progress is being done again. Otherwise, feel free to ask me to provide an update (no matter how small) and I'll comply.

d.    There is an issue that disallows me to send messages. While this usually isn't a problem, sometimes power outages or technical difficulties will make image sending slow to a crawl or be entirely unsuccessful. You will be informed if this were to happen, but other methods will be tested to ensure work is continued immediately.

5.    CAN YOU STREAM WHILE YOU WORK? CAN I WATCH YOU DRAW?

Unfortunately, running too many programs will make my computer freeze.

•    Regarding Payment:

1.    YOU HAVE A PAY.ME BUTTON AVAILABLE. WHY CAN'T WE USE THAT TO PAY?

I set it up for donations, because it's for smaller amounts if ever people decide to take it back. Invoicing can protect me from buyer/client scams as I can specifically add rules and information that will help my case if ever such situations occur.

There have been such incidents where clients use the "I didn't receive anything" excuse because there was no attachment to the payment that says that shipping isn't involved in the order or that the product is purely digital. Artists are at risk for these refund scams.

Paypal, itself, has also expressed concern about not using invoices when offering digital goods.

Noncompliance to minimum effort request will be subjected to suspicion of intent.

2.    DO YOU ONLY ACCEPT USD/CREDIT/PAYPAL? CAN I PAY YOU ANOTHER WAY/CURRENCY?

I take all forms of currency, as long as it's equal to the USD rates, which will then be converted to Philippine Peso.

Remittance or bank-to-bank transfer is required if overall total is above $50. If it is an analog transaction, details of the remitance will need to be sent over, including the full name of sender, reference number, and contact number (if listed). Otherwise, please send the confirmation screen or select the option to notify the recipient.

3.    HOW DO I PAY THROUGH REMITTANCE?

Finding which service to remit to is based on the client's preference as long as the value equals the USD rates, but Remit.ly or WorldRemit is the default. It is preferred that the payment be loaded into Mobile Money > Gcash.

4.    WHY DO I NEED TO PAY THROUGH REMITTANCE / TRANSFER?

Paypal has a high cut percentage when it comes to international transactions. Aside from the 4% fee upon receiving, there will then be a 5% conversion deduction per dollar, and then a fee to withdraw or move the money out of Paypal. This entire process takes a cut of an average of $10 ~ $20.

5.    DO YOU TAKE TRADES/NON-MONETARY EQUIVALENT AS PAYMENT?

Yes, but more often than not, it will be declined as most items do not hold the equivalent amount across countries.

6.    I WANT TO COMMISSION YOU, BUT I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY RIGHT NOW. CAN I PAY ANOTHER TIME?

You can stay in the waiting list. I'll hear you out and let you stay in your spot while the list moves, but I'll only start once you've paid, even if you're supposed to be the next person to be served. In this circumstance, I'll send you an invoice with the due a day or two after your promised date.

The system of reservations are as follows:

If you decide to change your order with at least 3 days before the due, then you don't lose your spot but the invoice would be updated with the same deadline. If you change it a day before or on the day of your due, you're gonna have to go back a few pegs down the list as your order would affect the time frames of the ones who paid before you.

If you pay while I'm in the middle of tending to another client and you're supposed to be on top of the list, you're gonna have to wait until I finish their piece first.

If you fail to pay, you lose your spot in the list and will have to request to be put in it again, with a new date. Just know that while the spots in the list don't necessarily have a limit, customer integrity does.

7.    WHY DID YOU REFUND/RETURN MY PAYMENT?

Refer to the general rules.
